Ingredients
1 large loaf of French bread baguette or Italian Loaf
4 tbsp or half stick of butter, softened
2 large garlic cloves, finely minced ( more if you prefer)
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives or basil
1/2 cup of freshly grated parmesan cheese
Preparation
1. Thoroughly mix the butter, garlic olive oil and herbs together in a small bowl
2. Cut bread in half lengthwise. Brush cut sides with garlic mixture and sprinkle cheese over the top; place on a baking sheet.
3. Bake at 350° for 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cut each bread half into serving pieces.
