Sour Cream Coffee Cake

This is an old favorite and you've probably eaten one very much like it. It's always good to take to someones home or to have on hand for company.

Ingredients:

1 cup of butter (softened)
2 cups of sugar (cream together)
2 eggs -added one at a time
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup of sour cream
2 cups of flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp of salt

Directions:

Cream together the butter, sugar and vanilla
Add the eggs one at a time and mix thoroughly

Combine the following and add all at once to the butter,eggs and sugar. Mix until well blended

2 cups of flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Add sour cream and blend thoroughly

Filling

combine
4 tsp sugar
1 cup of walnuts or pecans
1 tsp cinnamon

Put 1/3 of batter in a greased and floured tube pan or bundt pan
sprinkle with filling and then add the rest of the batter

Bake at 350 deg for 60 minutes
